In one TEDx Talk, an expert in the field of college applications, Alex Chang, says that “if you just look at SAT, GPA, or ACT this is not really a reliable indicator of where you will end up in (…) what colleges really want is awesome people and awesome people have awesome qualities.” This means that universities look for students for not only their scores but also for who they are and what they can do.
